Invoicing FAQs
Can customers pay an invoice by card? +
Yes. Share the invoice to the online customer portal and the customer pays by card through Stripe Checkout, right in their browser. Card details never touch AllForProjects servers, and Stripe's fees are passed through at cost with no markup.
What happens when a payment comes in? +
The invoice reconciles automatically — paid status updates without anyone checking the bank and editing records by hand. Part-payments are handled too: the invoice shows as part-paid until the balance clears, then moves to paid.
How do I chase late payers? +
The aged debtors report shows who owes what and how long it has been outstanding, with drill-down on every line and CSV export. You chase from live numbers rather than a spreadsheet someone updated last month.
Is this invoice software for electricians? +
Yes. AllForProjects is built for UK trades including electricians, so invoicing sits in the same platform as your BS7671 certificates, diary and quotes — the EICR, the job and the invoice share one record.
Does it handle CIS? +
There is a CIS report alongside the sales, turnover and aged debtors reports, with drill-down and CSV export for your records or your accountant. AllForProjects does not file returns with HMRC for you.
