Mobile field app

A job management app that works offline — on iPhone and Android

AFPro, the AllForProjects field app, puts the whole day on the engineer's phone: job sheets, photos, signatures, safety checks and certificates — and it keeps working in basements, tunnels and plant rooms where the signal doesn't.

Live now on the App Store and Google Play.

The day at a glance: Today and Upcoming

Engineers open the app and see exactly what matters — no scrolling through everyone else's diary to find their own.

Today & Upcoming view

Today's jobs first, the rest of the week behind them — addresses, job details and everything the office attached, ready before the engineer knocks on the door.

Push notifications on changes

When a job is assigned, rescheduled or moved, the engineer's phone says so straight away — no ring-round when the afternoon changes shape.

Jobs land in the app from a capacity-aware diary — see how job scheduling works.

Works offline — built for tunnels, basements and plant rooms

Tunnels, basements and plant rooms don't come with a signal, so AFPro doesn't assume one: an offline transition queue keeps the engineer working when the connection drops. Move the job on — en-route, on-site, complete — capture photos, signatures and notes as normal, and it all queues on the device until the connection comes back.

  • Keeps working through tunnels, basements and plant rooms
  • Built for patchy 4G, not just full bars
  • Everything syncs automatically when signal returns — nothing lost, nothing re-entered

If you're comparing offline field service apps in the UK, test this on your worst site — it's where most apps fall over and where this one was built to work.

Job sheets, photos and signatures — captured on site

Everything the engineer records lands on the job the moment it happens, and the office sees it in real time.

Photos against the job

Before, during and after shots captured straight onto the job record — the evidence is there when the customer, the office or the certificate needs it.

Signature capture

The customer signs on the engineer's screen and the signature is stored on the job — a signed record instead of a nod at the door.

Voice notes, transcribed

Talk instead of type. Voice notes are recorded against the job and transcribed automatically, so nothing gets lost between the van and the office.

Pre-job safety checklist

Engineers work through the safety checks before starting, and their acknowledgements are stored on the job — proof the checks happened, not just a box on a form.

Site sign-in and out — without tracking anyone

Engineers sign in and out of site from the app, building a clean attendance record. Location is read once at sign-in — never continuously — and checked against a roughly 150 m geofence. If an engineer declines location permission, sign-in still works. It's an attendance log, not a tracker.

  • One-time location read at sign-in, ~150 m geofence check
  • No continuous tracking — privacy-friendly for the team
  • Works without location permission

The attendance log feeds the site record alongside RAMS and toolbox talks — see site safety features.

Finish the certificate before you leave site

Certificates are completed on site in AFPro — test results in, photos attached, customer signature captured — so the paperwork is done when the tools go back in the van, not at the kitchen table that evening.

Certificates

BS7671 electrical certificates — EICR, EIC, Minor Works, EV Charger, Emergency Lighting — plus G3 Unvented and the Landlord Gas Safety Record (CP12).

Permissions follow your security groups

The security groups you configure on the web extend to the app. Engineers and subcontractors see what their role allows — one set of permissions across office and field.

Built for electricians, gas engineers and multi-trade teams. The app is included in every seat — see how pricing will work.

Mobile app FAQs

Does it work offline? +

Yes. AFPro has an offline transition queue: engineers keep working through tunnels, basements and plant rooms on patchy 4G, moving jobs on and capturing what they need, and everything syncs automatically the moment signal returns. Nothing is lost and nobody waits for bars.

Is it on iPhone and Android? +

Yes — AFPro is live on both the App Store and Google Play today. Engineers get the same Today and Upcoming view, offline support, photos, signatures and certificates on either platform.

Does the app track engineers' location? +

No. Location is read once at site sign-in — never continuously — and checked against a roughly 150 m geofence. Sign-in still works if the engineer declines location permission, so it stays privacy-friendly for the team.

Can engineers complete certificates in the app? +

Yes. Certificates are completed on site in AFPro — including BS7671 electrical certificates such as the EICR — with photos, test results and the customer's signature captured before the engineer leaves.

Can I control what engineers see in the app? +

Yes. The security groups you set up on the web platform extend to the app, so engineers and subcontractors see what their role allows and nothing more — one set of permissions, everywhere.

Is the app included in the price? +

Yes. The plan is simple per-active-seat pricing with everything included — the app, the portals and reporting come with every seat, with no separate app licence. The private beta is free of charge.
